THE NEW GENERATION OF HELICOPTER WHEELS FOR
GROUND HANDLING.

AEROMOB wheels use a 100% mechanical system to make ground handling lighter, more predictable and more reliable.
In real-world operations, ground handling is no longer just an operational detail — it has become a critical factor for safety, cost and aircraft availability. Aeromob Wheels were engineered for exactly that scenario: predictable operation, no leaks, no hydraulic components, and the reliability demanded by military fleets, HEMS operators and FBOs around the world.
Developed under a Zero-Maintenance philosophy, Level-A reliability standards and aligned with ESG principles.

For which operations were AEROMOB WHEELS developed?
The HARDMOB and HELIMOB lines serve five distinct operation profiles. In all of them, the central point is the same: reliability in ground handling, without dependence on hydraulics
Armed Forces
Trusted for military-grade reliability, mobility and zero-maintenance operation, free of hydraulics and recurring maintenance downtime..
Law Enforcement, Fire & Rescue
Designed for critical missions where reliability, speed and operational readiness cannot fail.
Helipads & FBOs
For daily, repetitive movements, even with high operator turnover, the mechanical system simplifies the procedure and standardizes operator effort, cutting physical fatigue and reducing the risk of mishandling.
Aircraft Mechanics
Tight hangars demand precise maneuvering. AEROMOB wheels make ground handling easy in narrow hangars without sacrificing agility or safety.
Private Owners
For pilots and owners who expect top-tier equipment. A lightweight set, compact enough to be carried inside the aircraft's own baggage compartment, and simple enough to operate with minimal personnel.

How do HELIMOB & HARDMOB improve your operation?
Total elimination of hydraulic dependence
The HARDMOB and HELIMOB lines do not use hydraulic oil at any stage of operation. This eliminates leaks, hangar-area contamination and unavailability caused by failure of pressurized components. Every movement happens with the same level of predictability, from the first cycle to the thousandth cycle.
Fully mechanical system
A mechanical system has no seals, no fluid, no pump. That translates into fewer points of failure, fewer critical spare parts, and noticeably lower operating cost over the equipment's service life.
Operational availability above market standard.
Engineered for high-demand operations, the wheels deliver superior durability, maximum availability, and reliable performance on every mission.
A lighter aircraft to push, without extra effort from the team
High-pressure tires (74 to 120 psi depending on the model) reduce rolling resistance on the ramp. In practice, that means less physical effort to move the aircraft, lower injury risk for ground crews, and faster maneuvering.

The helicopter is 30% higher from the ground. No skid dragging.
A common mistake when choosing ground handling wheels is overlooking how high they actually lift the skids off the ground. Aeromob Wheels raise the helicopter roughly 30% higher than other ground handling solutions on the market. That eliminates skid drag on ramps, protects the skid shoes and skid protectors, and prevents interference with hangar door tracks.
Precision machining. Frictionless fit, with no risk to the skid.
Every contact point between the wheel and the aircraft skid is precision-machined. The fit is tight, with no play and no undue friction. The result is a practical attachment that preserves both the structural integrity and the visual finish of the skids over thousands of cycles.

Favorable weight distribution. Lighter pushback.
The extra height of the wheel set shifts the aircraft's center of gravity (CG) in a subtle but measurable way. That small shift improves weight distribution across the wheels and makes pushback significantly lighter. The result: more precise maneuvering that reduces the risk of rotor blade tip strikes and other common incidents in tight hangars or crowded ramps.

Equipment with anti-corrosive chemical treatment for operation in saline areas
Anyone operating near the coast knows what salt air can do to metal components: accelerated oxidation, loss of function, and premature parts replacement. Aeromob Wheels receive a factory-applied anti-corrosion chemical treatment, which extends service life even under continuous operation in harsh environments.

I WANT SAFER GROUND HANDLING FOR MY HELICOPTER!
Frequently asked questions
How do wheels for MOVING HELICOPTERS work?
Have you ever wondered how rescue, military and police helicopters ensure the movement of helicopters on the ground, especially when they are away from base? In these types of operations, flight missions may arise to locations lacking ground assistance, or worse, with precarious assistance and ground movers who are unable to guarantee the success of the operations.
Therefore, helicopters engaged in these missions are starting to use wheels that contain the AL System® for daily movement or even as backup equipment to guarantee operational ground conditions at their base. The second highly relevant point that this system has brought is the extreme lightness and compact size for carrying on board for missions away from base.
The AL System - Aeromob Lever System® is an extremely simple lever helicopter lifting system, used in the HELIMOB wheel line. In addition to being manufactured with a Chromo Molybdenum metal alloy, providing extreme robustness and lightness. For medical removal helicopters, ensuring the movement of the aircraft out of the hangar has the importance of saving a life and the lack of operational guarantee due to equipment poorly chosen by the operator cannot be a reason for losing a rescue mission or even a life.
The second question is, why only the military and rescue helicopters need to guarantee their operations? Is the price of the equipment much more expensive? The answer is even more rhetorical than we can imagine, there simply wasn't a solution with such efficiency and with lower acquisition and maintenance costs than the old hydraulic wheels. But the most engaged operators are starting to figure this out quickly!
Today, the AL System® with simple leverage and the even more innovative ATM System® used by AIRBUS, which uses neither a lever system nor a hydraulic system, dominate operations with high operational reliability, whether for military helicopters or civil helicopters, around the globe.
