AEROTANK | Remote Control Aircraft Tug

SKU: AM-ATK-T10

A safe operation does not begin at takeoff. It begins with how the aircraft is moved on the ground.

The AEROTANK is the world’s most advanced aircraft tug, engineered to move airplanes and helicopters weighing up to 10 tonnes with professional precision.

Fully electric and virtually silent, it operates without fuel or electro-hydraulic systems, setting a new standard for safety, control, and efficiency in ground handling.

Remote-controlled operation allows a single operator to move freely around the aircraft with a complete view of the maneuver, even in crowded hangars and confined spaces. Rubber tracks, a flat low-profile design, precision-adjustable cradles, and a quick-change system for switching between airplanes and skid-equipped helicopters ensure firm, smooth, and jerk-free movement.

With automatic engagement upon approach, a monitoring app, hour meter, illuminated status indicators, automatic signal-loss protection, and certified operation in heavy rain, the AEROTANK delivers greater control, enhanced safety, and increased operational availability.

One person. Every aircraft. Precision in every maneuver.

Is your operation ready for this new standard?

The next move is yours.

Remote-Controlled Electric Tug for Airplanes and Helicopters

Operational excellence begins on the ground. Every aircraft movement directly affects aircraft preservation, team safety, and readiness for the next flight.

Towing inside crowded hangars, busy ramps, or confined spaces requires precision, visibility, and confidence in the equipment. Sudden jerks, blind spots, miscalculated turns, or contact with antennas, FLIR cameras, hooks, pods, and other equipment installed beneath the aircraft can cause costly damage.

Your reputation was built through years of care. It should not depend on improvised, unsafe, or unreliable ground equipment.

The AEROTANK Was Developed to Eliminate This Problem

The AEROTANK is the world’s most advanced aircraft tug: fully electric, remote-controlled, and engineered to move airplanes and helicopters with safety, precision, and complete control.

Designed for aircraft with a maximum takeoff weight of up to 10,000 kg, it allows a single operator to walk freely around the aircraft while maintaining a clear view of every angle of the maneuver.

No fuel. No combustion-engine noise. No electro-hydraulic systems. No hydraulic leaks. No sudden jerks.

Its quiet, fully electric operation eliminates emissions, reduces maintenance requirements, and increases day-to-day operational reliability.

Precision to Protect What Matters Most

Rubber tracks provide excellent grip on dry, wet, or uneven surfaces, enabling smooth, stable, and highly precise movements. This improves positioning inside crowded hangars and reduces the risk of damage during confined-space operations.

Progressive acceleration and braking eliminate sudden movements, protecting the landing gear and aircraft structure.

Its advanced battery system enables an extremely low, flat profile, reducing the risk of interference with sensors, antennas, FLIR cameras, external loads, hooks, fairings, pods, and mission equipment installed beneath the aircraft.

One Tug for Airplanes and Helicopters

The AEROTANK supports different aircraft configurations through a quick-change system.

Operators can switch between the adjustable cradle for airplanes and helicopters with wheeled landing gear and the universal support arm for skid-equipped helicopters.

The cradles adjust precisely to the wheel size, ensuring firm engagement without play or sudden movement.

For airplanes, the automatic engagement system allows the aircraft to be coupled, locked, and released by remote control, without manual physical interaction.

Smart, Cable-Free Charging

With proximity charging, the operator simply drives the tug toward the charging station, and charging begins automatically. There is no need to connect cables, handle plugs, or press buttons during daily use.

The smart float charger manages the process automatically, protects the battery, and preserves its service life. Visual indicators show whether the equipment is charging, disconnected, or fully charged.

The remote control follows the same principle. Simply place it on the tug to begin charging, eliminating disposable batteries and separate charging cables.

Active Safety at Every Stage

The AEROTANK automatically performs a controlled stop and disables traction if the remote-control signal is lost due to low battery, interference, communication failure, or shutdown.

Audible and visual warnings alert the operator when the battery is low, while maintaining enough reserve power to disengage from the aircraft and return to the charging station.

The operational status lighting system provides immediate visual guidance:

Green: The tug is configured and cleared to move the aircraft.

Yellow: The steering-lock system is armed or requires attention.

Red: The steering system is locked or an operational alert is active.

Continuous cradle lighting improves visibility during engagement and disengagement, while the remote-controlled auxiliary headlight illuminates the surrounding area in low-light conditions.

Certified for operation in heavy rain, the AEROTANK provides safety and operational continuity even under adverse conditions.

Management, Traceability, and Simplified Maintenance

The operating hour meter supports usage traceability, preventive maintenance planning, and component service-life management.

Through the mobile application, users can remotely monitor battery level, usage history, operational alerts, activity records, and any operation involving an aircraft above the recommended weight limit.

Maintenance is simplified through quick-fit modules that can be replaced without extensive disassembly.

More availability. Less downtime. Greater operational confidence.

Compact and Easy to Transport

With approximate dimensions of 1 meter by 1 meter, the AEROTANK can be transported between operating bases in a standard pickup truck or compatible utility vehicle.

This provides greater flexibility for operations supporting aircraft at multiple locations.

Protection for the Aircraft, the Team, and the Operation

High-value aircraft should not depend on outdated, noisy, or unreliable ground-support equipment.

A sudden load on the landing gear, limited visibility, or an imprecise tug can result in avoidable damage, delays, and expenses.

The AEROTANK transforms aircraft ground movement into a simple, quiet, and safe operation, combining remote control, complete visibility, and professional-grade precision.

One person. Complete control. Less risk. Greater aircraft protection.

Support Always Within Reach

A QR Code permanently marked on the AEROTANK provides access to the video user manual, updated technical documentation, and direct support from AEROMOB, without intermediaries.
